We’ll be honest: we’ve never been told about a customer fainting of excitement upon entering a shop we’ve designed.
However, with the recent launch of the Forty6 clothing store that built from scratch, this is likely going to change. If you’re the kind of person that likes to skim through articles or only reads a couple paragraphs, here’s a summary for you: it’s awesome, check out the photos.
We´re always immensely excited to receive new challenges. We believe challenges are what make us better as a shop fitting company and as a service provider in general.
That’s why we were delighted to find out Forty6 required our assistance. We knew it wasn’t going to be a quick and easy project – but fortunately, we are always prepared to put our skills and creativity to work. We don’t like quick and easy fitouts – they are boring and they don’t make an impact.
We want to design and build stores that sell their products like hotcakes, and in which clients rush so fast that they unleash a sonic boom.
Definition: A sonic boom is the sound associated with the shock waves created by an object traveling through the air faster than the speed of sound.
In the next few paragraphs we’re going to take a closer look at what we did for Forty6.
Brief description of the client
Forty6 is an uprising high-end clothing shop. The gear they sell is really good, and the public’s perception of the brand is very positive.
Because the competition is really tough in this industry nowadays, they required an outstanding locale for their business. They got in touch with us and asked if we can get this done. Ha! You know the deal: if we couldn’t build amazing stores, we wouldn’t be the best shop fitters in Ireland.
And here’s our great shop fitting work.
We took care of the whole store. Everything, from the floor to the stands, was made by us. The furniture pieces were designed, measured and cut/machined by our craftsmen in order to avoid any kind of imperfections in the finished product.
The interior layout was also our task. We made sure every object and piece of furniture was properly positioned and matched the colors we assigned for the store. This included the display stands, cabinets, and the signage on the front door.
It´s worth mentioning that we made a complete fit-out for each one of the two floors inside of the store. The first floor was designed to play the role of a standard apparel store, so it had to be designed around the needs of Forty6’s customers: elegant design, exquisite atmosphere, and intuitive placement of the products.
The second floor is where the wholesale office is located, so it had to feel comfortable for corporate customers and partners.
The result: One of the nicest shop fit-outs in Dublin
You can see it in the photos, it ended up looking like a million quid. The design language wouldn’t be out of place in a yacht’s onboard store. This is what the team at Forty6 felt too, and it feels like a great accomplishment for us whenever we see a client get excited about our work.
If you liked what you saw and want something similar done for your business, you can always contact us. If you believe that work should speak for itself, then take a look at some other projects in our portfolio. Then call us. We’re ready to make your store kick its competition out of town.
